A decade of major Games. An opportunity to learn together.
The India–Australia Roadmap looks towards a decade of major sporting events, including the 2030 Commonwealth Games in Ahmedabad and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. These events create a context for exploring sporting capability, event delivery, infrastructure, knowledge exchange and potential connections. A major event can provide a useful reason to bring institutions together, but it does not automatically establish a partnership. India has expressed interest in hosting a future Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2036. An expression of interest must not be confused with an official host appointment.
