PlayForward Australia–India is an initiative of the Australian Indian Sports, Educational and Cultural Society (AISECS). It exists to make the Australia–India sports landscape easier to understand and navigate.
Make the connection. Move the opportunity forward.
Clear information. Credible connections. Practical next steps.
Our purpose
Sport brings together people, institutions and expertise in ways that can create opportunities for shared learning and cooperation.
PlayForward helps people explore that landscape through accessible explanations, authoritative sources, independent analysis and practical starting points for potential collaboration.
Our mission
To make Australia–India sports collaboration easier to understand, explore and approach through clear information, evidence-led content and practical tools.
How we work
Start with sources. Explain clearly. Distinguish status — confirmed facts, announced activities, proposals, independent analysis and PlayForward’s own work. Review before publishing. Correct errors when reliable evidence changes.
Accountability: AISECS will publish verified organisational information, named leadership where approved, relevant governance arrangements and an appropriate contact route as those details are confirmed and authorised. Unverified names and claims stay hidden.
What PlayForward is — and is not
Not a government agency or an official implementation body for the Roadmap.
Not a representative of the Australian or Indian governments.
Does not claim endorsement or formal affiliation with DFAT, India’s Ministry of External Affairs, Austrade, Commonwealth Sport, the Indian Olympic Association, Brisbane 2032 or other Games bodies.
Does not act as a commercial broker or guarantee partnerships, funding, selection, scholarships or market outcomes.
